Writing an article is not that much different from writing a report. In fact, a report can be written in the same way you would write an essay-start by outlining your main points and continue to summarize each of these points in a conclusion. How to write a review is very similar to how to write a summary, particularly when it comes to beginning and end. You must begin by outlining your topic and working through each of your sub-topics in order to determine how to best present your information. This process will help you outline and evaluate your topic in a logical manner, leading to a strong, well-written, and compelling conclusion.
After you have the outline and the sub-topics in place, you are ready to write the body of your article. Begin your outline by writing a list of your main points, which should be followed by a description of each of your sub-topics. For instance, if you are writing about public speaking, your main point might be that people who are good at speaking in public are generally good speakers. Then, you would write several paragraphs describing how each of your sub-topics fit into the larger theme of public speaking.
As you write your outline and your main points, give several reasons as to why your main points are important and pertinent to your topic. Use these reasons to support your conclusion, making it compelling. You should also give reasons as to why your conclusion is different than what other people have written in their reviews.
When it comes to starting to write the actual article, there are several different ways to go about it. If you find that you are having trouble with an article that does not have a strong beginning, middle, and end, try to look for similar articles online to model your work off of. Or, start out with a topic that has only a few main points and do not summarize everything. Instead, summarize your main points in such a way that the reader can get the gist of what you’re talking about relatively quickly. Then, start writing the article by first summarizing your ideas in bullet form.
After you have finished your outline and your main points, write a paragraph or two that gives a summary of what you think of the main points covered in your original article. This paragraph should be about what you found interesting about the article. Then, move onto your critique of the article. If you find that you have already written an excellent critique, then you can start writing your article!
Finally, start your main paragraphs and make your closing paragraphs similar to the introduction. The main points in your piece should all be in the same paragraph or near an identical paragraph. Then, summarize your main points in the last paragraph of your essay. The last paragraph should give reasons as to why your peer review article is better than what others have written and emphasize the benefits of your work. If you can do this, you’ll be able to know how to write a peer review article quickly.
