Many people ask the question of how to write an article. Writing articles can be a rewarding and profitable business if you know how to do it right. When I was first trying to publish my work online, I made every mistake possible, I made grammar and spelling mistakes, and I even used incorrect punctuation and sentence structure. This made my articles not only bad in grammar, but they also lacked clarity and structure. I realized that I needed to take a different approach to my articles and how to write them. Fortunately, I was able to learn from my mistakes and eventually my articles began to look much more professional.
You may be worried about trying to learn how to write an article if you don’t have any background in the field. In this case, I would suggest that you read as many books and articles on the subject as you possibly can. There are even sites available on the Internet today that offer hundreds of templates specifically for beginners.
Once you feel comfortable enough with your new found knowledge, you should then decide on how to write your articles. My favorite method is to break each topic down into two or three parts. I then choose an introduction paragraph, a body paragraph, and a conclusion paragraph. In most cases I write my articles this way. However, if I feel it is necessary to add filler or to make the article flow better, I use paragraphs.
The introduction to my articles is the part everyone reads. In this part I inform the reader of what the topic is and why they should care. Then I summarize what I have said in the introduction to make the reader interested in learning more. Sometimes I like to go into more detail about what I have discussed in the introduction. At the end of the introduction to my article I include my conclusion and recommend the link to my website where I encourage further reading.
The body of my articles can be quite lengthy, as I like to talk about my topic briefly and then return to it. I write my body as I would a report. I start with a title and write the article body based on the title. If the topic I am writing about is very long, I may have to write multiple articles on the same topic.
I always include a bio section at the end of my article. This allows me to share something about myself. At the very end of the bio I always recommend that the reader visit my website. In my mind, the bio is the last opportunity to get a “cold call” for my product or service. When I ask people to visit my website, I want them to read everything I have to say about my topic. If I am not clear and concise in my writing, readers will not trust me and I will not receive any sales.
